Topics will be focused on a major issue plaguing many countries; the worst opioid epidemic we have ever seen.This workshop is designed for mental health professionals, AOD counselors, and the general public. GOALS & OBJECTIVES: <\/strong><\/p>\n ~Explain what opioids are and the etiology of the current epidemic.<\/p>\n ~Discuss the next epidemic heading our way.<\/p>\n ~Educate why opioid addiction is a specialty within the addiction field.<\/p>\n ~Explore the importance of individualized treatment in the realm of opioid addiction.<\/p>\n PRESENTER<\/strong>:<\/p>\n Curtis Buzanski, LMFT, LAADC has over 20 years experience in the addiction field since getting sober himself in 1996. He has a private practice in Fair Oaks where he specializes in Addiction, Trauma, and other Mental Health Issues; utilizing treatments such as The Comprehensive Resource Model and EMDR.
